It's the end of the roll for West Yorkshire Cameras.

The last 12 years have been a pleasure and a privilege, but all good things must come to an end. We're winding down our shop and saying goodbye. Click the link below to find out more about why we're closing.

We're not going anywhere for a little while yet. The silver lining is that we are having a huge stock sale with considerable discounts.

All of us here at West Yorkshire Cameras want to remain a part of the film photography community going forward, so as we are finishing everything up we are still committed to providing quality, honest service that we've built the shop around for the last decade.

All current and future orders will be dispatched as normal and all existing warranty periods will be honoured. Gift card holders will be contacted to use up any remaining balance.

The all new KM02 OLED light-meter, which inherits all the simplicity of its predecessor the EM01, yet includes ground-breaking new features, compact dimensions and outstanding performance. All in all, making your photography experience easier and more enjoyable than ever before.

    Design

The redesigned KEKS KM02 incorporates a sleek and elegant design, making it blend in perfectly with timelessly designed classic cameras. The KM02 is manufactured using high quality aluminium, making the KM02 more solid and practical than ever before. Thanks to its reduced size, the new model is noticeably lighter and more compact than its predecessor.

3 Aperture, Shutter and ISO Stops

The KM02’s aperture, shutter speed and ISO stops are all customizable to meet the needs of the user’s different cameras and lenses. With full, half and third stops the KM02 is easy to operate and is capable of giving more accurate readings than ever before. Settings can be saved for up to 3 separate cameras/lenses.

    Max/Min Aperture and Shutter Speed

The maximum/minimum aperture and shutter speed value can be set according to the needs of the user’s individual cameras and lenses. This, in turn, can prevent unnecessary readings from being displayed. Settings can be saved for up to 3 separate cameras/lenses.

    Exposure Compensation

In addition, the KM02 boasts an exposure compensation feature. This feature, allows the user to manually adjust the exposure from -3EV to +3EV in 1/3 increments.

    Easier to operate

Operating the KM02 couldn’t be easier or more straight-forward. With the KM02 the user is able to switch between aperture priority and shutter priority mode at the simple click of a button.

    Two metering mode

Continuous metering mode light-meter reading will update constantly. (Data refresh at every 0.6s) -Single metering mode Single click the metering button to take a new reading.

    3 Display modes

Standard mode Displays basic information for the photographer -Detailed mode Displays all information and data for professional use -Inverted mode Display is inverted (for the Rollei 35)

    🫖More information

For full information on our sale, and all the T's and C's, see our Goodbye sale blog post.

If you'd like to learn more about why we are closing, take a look here.

All used equipment we sell is comprehensively inspected and tested by us. We grade our items as follows:

    Mint Minus.

As close to new as a used item can be. It will have absolutely minimal signs of use. Of course, fully functional in all respects. We tend to use this rating sparingly.

    Excellent Plus.

Very good condition, it will have seen light use and there will be some very minor cosmetic imperfections. Of course, everything is fully functional in all respects unless otherwise stated in the description.

    Excellent.

Used condition but good overall - what you might expect from a second hand item. Some signs of use but fully working unless otherwise stated. Our standard condition rating.

    Average.

Relatively poor condition overall but still fully working. Will have obvious signs of use and/or minor issues - for example optics may have small defects, a built-in light meter may not work, there may be cosmetic imperfections - and so on - but nothing too detrimental to its functionality and the item will be mostly usable in it’s original capacity.

    Ugly.

Heavily used, beaten up, or whatever you want to call it. The item will function (just) - but will have one or more obvious defects. For example: the slow shutter speeds may not be working, there may be a ding to a filter rim, deep scratches or fungus to optics, significant signs of use and wear.
'Ugly' rated items do not come with any warranty period.

    Outlet.

For spares or repair only. For those budding repairers, parts collectors, risk takers, or those who just like faffing. To avoid confusion, these items do not appear on our main catalogue, but are on a separate Outlet section. They are utterly broken and are sold as-seen.

    Additional information about Condition.

Please note that for any condition rating, we do not guarantee selenium-cell light meters - both those which are built into cameras and hand-held. Due to age, these types of meter have often decayed to inaccurate or inoperative levels.

All used lenses will have some specks of dust in the optics no matter what the condition rating.

When can I expect my order?

You can choose at checkout what speed of delivery suits you best:

🐈💨 Fast Postage (Free for UK orders of £150 or more)

Fast Postage means your items will be with you within a couple of days. It's usually next-day delivery from when it leaves our shop. We endeavour to dispatch Fast Postage items as quickly as we can - within 48 hours of receiving the order (but not including weekends or bank holidays).

🦥💤 Slow Postage (Free for UK orders of £50 or more)

Slow Postage is cheaper, but allow up to a week for delivery. We take items to the local Post Office every few days and use a tracked second-class service. Useful for smaller items, or if you want to keep costs down.

Slow Postage may not be available for large or expensive items.

    On a deadline? Tell us!

We are a small team running a busy shop, and as such we can't always post items out immediately - if you need an item for the next day, or have any particular delivery requirements, we are happy to try and accommodate this if you discuss it with us prior to ordering. Once the item has been dispatched, we cannot be held responsible for any service delays from the courier that is used. We always post items with delivery confirmation and full insurance up the order value.

    Returns

For full information on returns policy, see our Returns page.

We use stock photos for some items.

As you may imagine - we get through plenty of stuff! It's not always possible to take photos of each item individually, especially if it's an item we see a lot.

For unusual or high-end items, or items with modifications or damage, we'll almost-always display photos of the exact item which is for sale.

We understand that specific versions of items or serial numbers can be important. If you have any concerns or requirements then feel free to get in touch and ask us for more details so we can make sure that you're getting exactly what you want.

The condition rating and photos are representative of the item you will receive. We usually specify if we've used stock photos. If you're not sure, just ask!

We aim to be the best camera shop in't country.

    Even people from Lancashire agree.
