We are NOW OPEN in Leeds Grand Arcade!

Have a browse and say hello anytime – we’re situated in the charming Leeds Grand Arcade

On August 4th, West Yorkshire Cameras left Leeds Corn Exchange, and on Monday 19th August, we opened the doors to our shiny new premises.
'The Grand Arcade is Grade II listed shopping arcade located on New Briggate in Leeds, West Yorkshire. It was built over 100 years ago by New Briggate Arcade Company Ltd in 1897, in a Renaissance style with Art Nouveau details.
The Victorian architecture of the Grand Arcade identifies it as one of the oldest and most unique retail spaces in the city, with a stunning glass roof, arched windows, open beams and wooden floors.'

We have an ever changing array of shelves, cabinets, drawers, cupboards, boxes, and more, full of photographic equipment for your perusal.
(I never tire of having a highly unusual request within arms reach)
With older or used equipment, people really love being able to handle an item before they buy it. Not only to check it out and make sure everything fits their expectations but to see how they personally feel about it. Do they get along with it? I always tell newcomers that it's more important that a camera feels right in their hands, rather than what brand it is or the quality of the lenses.
