We are proud to announce a limited edition run of West Yorkshire Cameras branded 35mm film.
It’s a C-41 process monochrome film which is very similar to Ilford XP2 or Kodak 400CN – but at around half the price. Rated at ASA 400, with 27 exposures, we have tested this film with several stops of underexposure and overexposure, and the latitude it has is very impressive indeed. We used it at speeds 100, 200 and 800 on the same roll with good contrasty prints coming out (this was with standard processing at a high street lab by the way)
We know, we aren’t exactly up there with Cartier-Bresson or Ansel Adams (speak for yourself! -Tom) but our sample pictures should at least demonstrate the great qualities of this film:
We have 100 rolls of this film available at the moment but depending on demand we may have another production run in the near future!
It’s priced at £3.50 per roll and we have a pack of 8 rolls for £24.00.
