The 18th September was our very first day of preliminary trading
And it took place at the market day event at Freshers Festival at the University of Huddersfield. We used the freshers fair as more of a “get our name out there” day over anything else, and was a great preliminary day to our first week at the market in October.
The day went very well, a slow start as you would expect (this is freshers after all, us students have a habit of sleeping in!) but as the morning passed by the fair got pretty busy.
It was all set up for us to get our name out there, and we did that fantastically. Online activity after the day shot up and the flyers were flying out (pardon the pun).
