Schneider-Kreuznach Componon 180mm f/5.6 Enlarging lens

Schneider-Kreuznach Componon 180mm f/5.6 Enlarging lens

£65.00

Availability: 1 in stock

Description

An enlarging lens or barrel lens for at least 4×5″. When tested on an 8×10″ camera, the image appears to cover the whole of the ground glass at infinity although likely no room for movements, and final image quality cannot be vouched for at this image size. For shooting or enlarging with 5×4, or 5×7, this lens should be wonderful. Apertures have click stops for precise calculations. Lots of aperture blades for a very round aperture. Made in Germany. Quite heavy and dense, like Howard.

What’s included?

The lens comes with a screw-in mounting ring (approx diameter 65mm)

Condition

Cosmetic: Average, with clear signs of use.
Mechanical: Apertures stop down correctly and quickly.
Optical: Lens is clean and clear with no obvious fungus or haze present, and minimal dust. As common for Schneider lenses of this age, a spot of blooming at the interior front element – should not affect image.
Electronic: N/A

    Condition

    Our photos.
The vast majority of our items are individually photographed - however any commonplace items will be listed in multiples and may be stock photos which we have previously made. An example of this would be standard 50mm f/1.8 lenses for Olympus OM or Pentax PK. We get dozens of these and it is not efficient to list them indivudually. Items purchased will match their descriptions in terms of condition and functionality, and be as similar as possible to the images shown but may have nominal differences. As a rule of thumb, we always use individual photographs for items over £50.

Every single piece of used equipment we sell is comprehensively inspected and tested by us. If an item has faults, they will be fully and accurately described - but all our items will be usable for their intended purpose - we do not sell items for spares or in need of repair on our website.

We describe each item individually in detail on the product page to ensure that everything that you need to know about the item is clear and simple. The description is usually just a short sentence about each aspect of the item - the cosmetic, optical, electronic and mechanical condition is noted - but any faults or oddities will be included here too, so remember to read them carefully!

    Delivery

We endeavor to dispatch stock within 48 hours of receiving cleared payment (not including weekends or bank holidays) although this is not guaranteed, and you will be notified if there is any delay. Once the item has been dispatched, we cannot be held responsible for any service delays from the courier that is used. We always post items with delivery confirmation and full insurance up the order value. Requests for shipping methods without tracking or insurance will be politely declined.

    Returns

Any equipment bought online from West Yorkshire Cameras has a 14 day return guarantee from the date the item has been received by you. For full information on returns policy, see our Returns page.
