Leica IIIG with 5cm f/2.8 Elmar

Leica IIIG with 5cm f/2.8 Elmar

£799.00

Availability: 1 in stock

Description

The Leica IIIg is the classic screw mount design Leica with a built in rangefinder, small form factor, and choice of many high quality lenses. The IIIG was the latest Leica screw model, and it’s main feature is the much larger, clearer viewfinder with 50 and 90mm framelines, compared with the older, much smaller viewfinders of III series cameras. The Leica 5cm f/2.8 was the top of the Elmar range lens at the time, and collapses into the body to create a truly pocketable camera which can be taken anywhere and still provide high quality enlargements. The choice of many famous photographers, the Leica III series of cameras is a legend in it’s own right.

What’s included?

Comes with original Leica lens cap.

Electronic: N/A
Mechanical: Mechanically spot on – all speeds are accurate, lens focus and film wind on are both smooth.

  • Condition, Delivery & Returns

    Condition

    Our photos.
The vast majority of our items are individually photographed - however any commonplace items will be listed in multiples and may be stock photos which we have previously made. An example of this would be standard 50mm f/1.8 lenses for Olympus OM or Pentax PK. We get dozens of these and it is not efficient to list them indivudually. Items purchased will match their descriptions in terms of condition and functionality, and be as similar as possible to the images shown but may have nominal differences. As a rule of thumb, we always use individual photographs for items over £50.

Every single piece of used equipment we sell is comprehensively inspected and tested by us. If an item has faults, they will be fully and accurately described - but all our items will be usable for their intended purpose - we do not sell items for spares or in need of repair on our website.

We describe each item individually in detail on the product page to ensure that everything that you need to know about the item is clear and simple. The description is usually just a short sentence about each aspect of the item - the cosmetic, optical, electronic and mechanical condition is noted - but any faults or oddities will be included here too, so remember to read them carefully!

    Delivery

We endeavor to dispatch stock within 48 hours of receiving cleared payment (not including weekends or bank holidays) although this is not guaranteed, and you will be notified if there is any delay. Once the item has been dispatched, we cannot be held responsible for any service delays from the courier that is used. We always post items with delivery confirmation and full insurance up the order value. Requests for shipping methods without tracking or insurance will be politely declined.

    Returns

Any equipment bought online from West Yorkshire Cameras has a 14 day return guarantee from the date the item has been received by you. For full information on returns policy, see our Returns page.
