Film & Vintage Camera Specialists.
Yep, that’s right – all we sell is analogue equipment – it’s still going strong. It might seem strange if you’re not a photography enthusiast and love the convenience of digital cameras, but a large proportion of photographers still use film.
Why, you ask? The character from film is unrivalled, and when you step up to medium format the quality is incredible. If my personal experience is anything to go by, it also makes you a more thoughtful photographer – when shooting digital there is an urge to be snap happy – with film you think a little more before you take the photo.
Don’t worry if you do shoot digital though, we still stock something for you. Lots of our lenses and accessories can be used natively on modern cameras, or adapted to them inexpensively with ease.

The Head Camera Nerd: Howard
Owner, business manager, camera connoisseur.
I’m Howard – and business has traditionally run in my family. From market stalls in Dewsbury to shops in Leeds, there’s almost sixty years of experience trading in Yorkshire to live up to, and now it’s my turn to carry the baton. My passion has always been in photography & cameras. The growl of a Harley does it for some people, jumping out of a plane does it for others – don’t ask me why, but the click of a camera does it for me!
My personal camera setup is always changing but at the moment I’ve settled on a Hasselblad, Nikon F, and Leica M3, amongst others… as well as some more esoteric things like a modified Ruby Reflex which now shoots 6×9 Polaroid. I suspect I was born in the wrong generation sometimes. I studied Business Management at Huddersfield University, and for four years co-owned the shop with the previous business partner who some of you may know, Tom. But as I am now the sole proprietor of the business, if you need me, I will always be available to help you out with any enquiries.
